Marsh Cassady is the author of more than fifty published or forthcoming books, including two Lambda Literary Award finalists. Among other things, he has been a university professor, an actor/ director, a newspaper journalist, a storyteller, a publisher and a gas station attendant (his first job after earning a Ph.D. degree!). At present he writes a column for the weekly newspaper Viernes.
Cassady's plays have been produced on radio, on audio tape and at educational, community and professional theatres across the country. He grew up in Cairnbrook, Pennsylvania, and for the past twenty years has lived first in San Diego and later in Baja California, Mexico, with his life partner, Jim Kitchen . They share their home with two other family members, Bishop and Mindy, both of the feline persuasion.
