Craig Curtis, a self-proclaimed “accidental author,” didn’t start writing
until he was 30 years old. “I was more comfortable writing dinner checks in
swank restaurants than I was writing books and articles,” says Curtis.
“Aside from writing the odd charming note, I’d never taken quill to parchment.”
All this changed with the publication of a serial in Edge Magazine, a serial
that morphed into his first novel, the tragic-comic Fabulous Hell, in 2000.

Since then, Curtis has been an outspoken advocate for People Living with
HIV/AIDS, writing columns for various publications such as Positive Living
and Inside Aware. He has also written a regular restaurant review column
for The Bellingham Weekly. He received a PEN Center USA West Grant for
Writers with HIV/AIDS in 1996.

Craig Curtis lives in Bellingham, Washington.

His latest work is I Told You I Love You Now Get Out!
