Saiba Cassone
Author of   ECHOES

Ms. Cassone lives in San Francisco now, but it's been a long journey from her birthplace in Ethiopia of Italian parents (her father was in Mussolini's Army). They returned to Italy when she was a baby and she grew up in Florence, coming to the United States at age twenty-seven. As she puts it, her journey may be called a search for a more realistic divine presence that may be considered somewhat contrary to usual religious teaching based on blind faith. Ms. Cassone considers herself bisexual and, although never married, has had long-term relationships with individuals of both genders. She looks for a more structured relationship in the future.

In my poems I have portrayed the universal struggles that mankind must endure before reaching a real repose of the heart. I try to give a sense of inspirational hope, through my divine faith in God, to those who read my poetry. I hope that the average reader will develop more faith in himself/herself, security against the forces encountered in everyday living, for truth can flow and befriend the unknown forces from within and without.

In addition to her poetry she has available an inspirational audiotape for relaxation and meditation which can be ordered for mail delivery through this web site. It is entitled
Foundation for Salvation.
