Bruce Drouin
Author of   The Music of My Soul

Bruce Drouin born in Chicago in 1952; educated M.A. Northwestern University; taught higher education for 25 years.  Born into Irish, Italian, and French-Canadian ancestry, he learned from their culture and struggles to prosper in America. Having been a child during times of revolutionary cultural and technological change and having traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe, he developed a profound understanding of humanity. "I have grown to realize that surviving change is an inherent part of being human and requires reliance on a Spiritual Source within us. As I age, I find more wonder in Life itself. I  become stronger as I come to recognize and depend on the Eternal Constants in this world. I have outgrown the generational/momentary fantasies to realize reality for what it is. And I Love it!"
Poetry has been his means to "awaken" in life and see the joy, the healing power of the human spirit, and the Divine Humanness.
