# 6 William Tarvin
Gay Man's Short Story
Portrait of a Statue
SUMMARY:
Sex with a statue--who hasn't had it? "Flesh that lies there like stone" is how one of Todd Hylas' homosexual partners/victims describes the 19-year-old would-be sculptor. This story--a gay gambol among artistic academia--recounts Hylas' adventures as he downloads (only to delete) a series of university profs and hangers-on. There's a lot of gratuitously humorous sex, but don't be surprised if some philosophical and mythological madness is brought in--the Hercules story, the artistic theories of M. Andre Malraux, the religion of Phillipp Melanchthon (Martin Luther's acolyte), a cameo appearance by the Pope, etc. With such famous gays, can this story be anything other than "a sodomite's delight?"
