READ  AN    e-BOOK

• This Web Site Section is devoted to making books - novels, novellas, short stories, non-fiction titles - available for downloading to your computer.  These works are generally of particular interest to gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgenders, but sometimes we will rescue other interesting titles no longer in print or those unavailable from your stores for other reasons.  And since you are doing the printing, the price is a fraction of the original.

  It's easy!

•   Consult the appropriate GLB e-BOOK INDEX page for the listing:
            Novels
            Novellas (short novels)
            Short stories
            Plays
            Non-Fiction
  
•   Read an excerpt or summary of the selection(s) that interest(s) you by clicking on "Read Summary."
•   Click on the "SEND" button of each selection to be ordered.
    For each selection, choose the print format that you would find most useful for you:
            Text mode - the most basic choice for 8.5 x 11 inch paper, suitable for all types of printers, ready for your formatting. You may change margins, type face, and type size to suit your taste. Most versatile but requires some work with your system to optimize readability.
           PDF - Page Format - to be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader [made available to you free from Adobe] in an expanded format. The original font and graphics are preserved but the margins are altered for printout and binding with 8.5 x 11 inch paper/binders. This is an economical original-font format (usually reduces a 200-page book to about 100 sides) with preservation of the original print appearance. Most elegant and requires no further work.
           Many other formats  are usually available- RTF (works with Macintosh), HTML for internet application, Word and Word Perfect for word processing (change fonts, font sizes, margins, etc.), MS Word LIT e-book format, Mobipocket PRC, Hiebook in some cases, etc.
•    Select a Cover Graphic if you wish. If the book has been published previously, the graphic will consist of the book's front cover. If the book has not previously been published, the graphic is an original, developed to identify and depict this book for this presentation. The graphic will be in full color and in a compressed download form (usually .jpg) for printing by your color printer.
•   When finished making your selection(s), use the CHECKOUT button to go to the Credit Card form.  Your selections will be listed in the form, waiting for you.
•   Your selections will be e-mailed to you within hours. There is a verification step so
  downloading is not automatic.
  
  Remember, the copyright is still in effect.  All works are copyrighted by the author or the author's assignee and it is illegal to reprint or copy any of these works for further distribution in any form.  Cover graphics are also protected by copyrights.
