Leather Rogues
A Short Story Anthology by Bill Lee
2002 ABSTRACT :
Abstract by Kieran F. Kennedy Jr., Ph.D.
Leather Rogues, the second volume in the ROGUES Series, is
a collection of 12 short stories of explicit gay male action, 8 of which
first appeared in magazines such as Folsom Magazine, Manscape, Drummer, and
Friction. The stories focus particularly on slave/master relationships. A
brief teaser for each story appears beneath its title in the Table of Contents.
For example, a foretaste of the third story, A Dangerous Place
reads, Even tough leather Masters have their Achilles heel, and Mardi
Gras brings it out. Other stories in the collection include Bridging
the Gap which explores how A devoted slave is forced to play
a Masters role in a precarious situation, and Danger: Writer
At Work, in which a leather porn writer has enough troubles with
his fictional characters without his own slave getting in on the act.
----- International Gay and Lesbian Review, Univ. of Southern California
Bill Lee's stories run the gamut of leather experience but focus
on slave/Master relationships that persist even when, or perhaps particularly
when, the tables are turned. These are accounts of hot leather encounters
in the classic styles that most readers prefer.
Anthony DeBlase
The stories are damn good, better than porn has any need to
be.
